Trying to Find A Bolt Head

Hello folks, I'm new here. I have a Gewehr 88 lined up, Steyr made. I don't know the year, however it appears that it either has not gone through the 05 conversion or only partially did. I figure that's fairly good for $200. Issue is, it's apparently missing the bolt head/face. Does anybody know where I could find one, and if so, how much I'm looking at paying? I'm really trying on this one, as I'm determined to have one in my collection, and I already got burned trying to get one before. I'm not letting this slip away. Many thanks.

I would pass on this Gew 88. By your discretion it almost sounds like a Turk Mixmaster
If you really want an original I suggest looking on gunbroker.com . for $200 to $250 you can probably get a complete Gew 88. For about $ 500.00 you could get one with all marching numbers bolt and all .
A replacement bolt head will run anywhere from $80.00 h to $250. depending on what you buy: push type, controlled type, German, Turk, Han yang. Or after market (usely without extractor or ejectors ) complete bolt heads will run you 150 to 250. Them remember changing the bolt head may change the head spacing of the gun. Not enough not to bad to correct, too much may be a problem.

I did, thanks for the advice. I actually found an interesting one that I plan on asking this forum about, one with a bolt head this time. Have a good one.
