I understand the barrel KaBoom problem. I even bought a KaBoomed example to see for myself what it looks like.

Has anyone ever actually seen a KaBoomed receiver. I have looked diligently without finding an example.

Years ago (like 10 years) I seen a photo on the net where receiver had split open but I didn't save photo, the other failures are barrels (the most & most likely are from barrel obstruction) & cracked recoil lug from shooting to hot of a load.
